Talking Points
There are services for migratory children available through the local MEP, outside the U.S. Department of Education, and through resources and partnerships with other organizations.
When a child becomes eligible for migratory services, it does not mean he or she will receive all the benefits listed. It means these services are available for migratory children if there is an identified need for it.
Recruiters need to be aware of the services their local MEP has decided to provide or fund for the school year.
