Activity

• Go to your assigned chart paper.

• Record ONE way to overcome the challenge listed.

• Move to the next chart paper when prompted.

• Continue moving around the room until you have visited all

challenges.

Now direct participants’ attention to the chart paper around the room and remove the blank paper covering each challenge. Let participants know these are some of the ID&R challenges identified by OME.
Divide participants into eight groups and assign each group to one chart paper.
Review the directions on the slide with participants.
Actively monitor participants to ensure they understand the challenges listed and provide guidance if necessary.
Refer participants to the bulleted list of challenges in the Importance of ID&R in Determining Eligibility section in the National ID&R Manual, Chapter 1: Background and Overview of the Migrant Education Program.
