Maintaining eye contact while speaking may be a sign of honesty and openness in one culture, whereas in another it may demonstrate a lack of respect or even confrontation.
Some cultures will use lots of physical contact and hand gestures when speaking, while others may cross their arms over their chest or stand with a rigid and more formal posture.
