Give Recruiter Task Cards to the “recruiters.” Read through their task and questions, clarify as necessary, and leave them to practice parts of their conversation with each other. Remind them to use the information they learned during the training.
Give Observer Cards to the “observers.” Read through their task and questions.
Tell the recruiter and observer to pair up when they are ready, then step out
to talk to the parents.
Give Parent Character Cards to the “parents.” Tell the parents they will be displaying some of the communication conversation patterns that were discussed in the training.
Read through Character A. Model some of the communication characteristics explained in the card. Do the same with Character B. Ask parents to take a minute to practice their characteristics with one another.
When everyone is ready, bring parents back into the room and ask them to rejoin their groups.
