• Each person will receive a statement card to place on the
graphic organizer in front of the room.
• Read the text on the card.
• Decide under which category your statement belongs.
• Tape your card to the appropriate category.

Large chart paper with the graphic organizer from the previous slide reproduced on it

Hang the chart paper high enough so there is enough room below each heading for participants to sort cards appropriately.
Read the directions from the slide.
Clarify directions as necessary.
Actively monitor the group and provide guidance as needed.
Once all participants have taped their cards to the graphic organizer in the front of the room, click for the next slide.
