The Interview Process: Before the Interview

• Turn to The Interview Process graphic organizer in your

Outline.

• Fill it in with the activities you do BEFORE the interview.

• As a table group, draw the graphic organizer on chart

paper.

• Discuss and record the activities agreed upon by the

group.

Ask participants to independently complete the “Before the Interview” column of the graphic organizer in their Outline (p. 3).
Once all participants have completed the column, click to show the next set of directions.
Review the directions with participants.
Tell participants they will first need to discuss what they each wrote in their individual graphic organizers before coming to a consensus on what they should write on their table’s graphic organizer.
Actively monitor groups and ask them to post their graphic organizers as they complete them.
Debrief the activity using the next slide.
