• With your table group, look at the questions you identified

as leading questions.

• Rephrase each leading question to an open-ended

question. Write the rephrased question in your Outline in

the space provided below each question.

Once participants have had a chance to rephrase questions in their Outline (p. 6), ask for volunteers to share.
See possible answers for the following re-phrased questions:

1. Why did you move here?
4. Has anyone in your family moved recently? When did they move?
6. How long has your family been living in this town? Did you ever travel anywhere else?
