The Interview Process: Ask for Additional
• As a recruiter, have you ever experienced a time when you
thought you needed additional information or
documentation to make a valid eligibility determination?
Ask participants to read the question from the slide and have a table discussion.
Actively monitor table discussions for stories you would like to hear shared with the whole group.
After a few minutes, bring the participants back for a whole group discussion.
Ask volunteers to share their experiences, including any stories you heard that you think would benefit the whole group.
It is natural for a recruiter to sometimes feel like he or she needs additional documentation to make an accurate eligibility determination.
The next few slides will explore five scenarios in which the recruiter is advised to ask more questions or to get additional documentation.
