Scenario 3

Every summer since 2014, Junior Isaac moved from

Georgia to Florida to work in a tomato cannery during the

summer. He returned home each year to be with his family—

his wife and three children ages 4, 6, and 9. A recruiter

interviewed Junior in November of this year to determine if

the children are eligible for MEP services.

Read Scenario 3 from the slide.
Ask participants to discuss the questions at their tables and record their answers to each of the three questions in the space provided in their Outline (p. 10) for The Interview Process: Getting the Facts – Scenario 3.
When ready, ask a volunteer at one table to report the answers the table developed for each question.
Ask each table to provide additional information or perspectives on processing the scenario.
Use the Key as you listen for responses to the questions and add to the discussion as necessary.
