The Interview Process: After the Interview

After the recruiter has completed the interview portion of

the visit, he or she should do the following:

• Check the COE to make sure it is complete, clear, signed,

and correct.

• If needed, consult with the translator to verify the

information on the COE and observations regarding the

interview.

Read the sentence starter to participants.
Ask participants to complete the final column of their group’s graphic organizer with the activities they include “after the interview.”
Actively monitor groups.
Once all participants are done, tell them the next three slides will review activities in the National ID&R Manual that should be a part of the “after the interview” process.
Ask participants to check off any activities on their charts that are the same.
Review and discuss the bullets on the next three slides.
When discussing the second bullet on this slide, tell participants a list of translator tasks can be found on the final page in their Outline (p. 12).
Tell participants that Module 8 will address reviewing the COE for accuracy.
